1.The novel Fahrenheit 451 begins : “It was a pleasure to burn.” Why does Ray Bradbury start the novel in this way? Why might it be more pleasurable to burn books rather than read them?
I believe that its more pleasurable burning books when ur like dieing of coldness or in this case probably cause he predicted that people would hate reading books cause of the technology.

The books are compared to birds because they were flying up like birds when burned.
